If you are interested in “engineering for humanity” and want to change the world, then Michigan is the place to come. Outreach opportunities working with younger students include K-Grams (a mentoring program), being a counselor at one of the many Summer Engineering camps or being a coach with a Lego Robotics team. If you want to be more involved with community projects there are great organizations such as BLUElab (Better Living Using Engineering Laboratory), Habitat for Humanity or the Program for Community Engagement in Engineering Design (ProCEED. The opportunities are endless! As a Michigan Engineer you can impact lives and make a difference.
